Search continues for four Salvadoran security personnel missing after Haiti gang attack

The Gang Repression Force (FSP) said Wednesday that operations are continuing in Haiti to locate four Salvadoran members who went missing after their vehicle was attacked by armed gangs in the Santo area of Croix-des-Bouquets on October 18.

According to the FSP, troops have conducted operations in the area since Sunday and engaged armed gang members with helicopter support. Preliminary reports indicate that several gang members were killed and others wounded during the clashes.

Four FSP personnel were also injured and are receiving medical treatment, the force said.

The FSP thanked the Salvadoran government for its coordination and additional support following the incident. It urged residents of Santo and nearby communities to remain at home and avoid areas where security operations are underway.

The four Salvadoran personnel disappeared when the vehicle they were traveling in came under attack in Croix-des-Bouquets, approximately 12 kilometers from Port-au-Prince.

The FSP said it will provide further updates as information is verified through official channels.

Don’t know why so many keep using this altered image of a haitian terrorist holding a wooden stick. Use the real one that shows the actual weapon.
