Sky High Dominicana advances construction of largest hangar at AILA

Santo Domingo.- Sky High Dominicana is advancing construction of its own hangar at Las Américas International Airport (AILA), a strategic investment designed to strengthen the airline’s aircraft maintenance and technical capabilities as it expands across the Caribbean.

The facility will accommodate two aircraft simultaneously and feature modern technology for fleet maintenance, inspections, scheduled servicing and technical support. Once completed, it will be the largest hangar at AILA and among the largest in the Caribbean, according to the airline.

The hangar is part of a broader investment strategy that also includes the Sky High Dominicana Aeronautical Training Center, which provides ongoing training for pilots, cabin crew, technicians and other aviation personnel.

Together, the projects are intended to strengthen the airline’s infrastructure, technical capabilities and workforce while supporting the continued expansion of its operations from Santo Domingo into Caribbean and Latin American markets.
