SKYhigh Dominicana flight returns to AILA after technical indicator alert

Santo Domingo.- SKYhigh Dominicana confirmed that flight DO850, operating on May 25, 2026, made a precautionary return to Las Américas International Airport (AILA) after the crew detected an alert in one of the aircraft’s systems during the flight.

According to the airline, the pilots followed international aviation safety protocols and decided to return to Santo Domingo as a preventive measure. The aircraft landed safely and under control at AILA, with no injuries or incidents reported.

The airline emphasized that passenger and crew safety was guaranteed at all times and that the situation was handled according to established procedures for technical contingencies.

To minimize delays and maintain service continuity, passengers were transferred to another aircraft to complete their scheduled itinerary.
