The La Romana Golf Tournament paid tribute to Deyanira Pappaterra of Banreservas

The La Romana Bayahibe Hotel Association ( AHRB ) celebrated the thirteenth edition of the La Romana Golf Tournament, in which tribute was paid to Deyanira Pappaterra, Vice President of Tourism Business at Banreservas, in recognition of her career and contributions to strengthening Dominican tourism.

Andrés Fernández, president of the AHRB, highlighted the honoree’s contribution to the sector’s development. “This year, 2026, this recognition is awarded to a professional who has been key at a crucial point for the sector: turning vision into viable projects, and viable projects into real development. Today we recognize Deyanira Pappaterra,” he stated.

The competition took place on the prestigious The Links course at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, in a Scramble format for pairs.

Rafael Berrido and Óscar Rodríguez achieved the Best Gross Score of the tournament. In Category A, first place went to Carlos Medrano and Harold Cuellar, while Silvio del Rosario and Duilio Gustavo Gimondo won in Category B. In the Ladies’ Category, the champions were Josefina Pichardo and Elizabeth Pérez.
