They approach taxi driver as passengers and kill him; Police are looking for four men in his death

The National Police reported this Friday that it is activating the search for four men identified as the alleged perpetrators of the death by gunshot wounds of a taxi driver, in an event that occurred in the early hours of this Friday, October 16, in the pedestrian area of Las Américas, in front of the Dr. Darío Contreras Traumatological Hospital.

The victim was identified as Feliz Valentín Casalinovo Trinidad, 48, who, according to preliminary investigations, would have been approached by the individuals as passengers and later attacked to strip him of his belongings.

Members of the Division of Investigation of Crimes and Crimes against Persons (Homicides), in coordination with technicians of the Department of Investigation of High Technology Crimes (DICAT), carry out investigative proceedings.

At the scene, the Scientific Police collected several pieces of evidence, in addition to seizing the gray Hyundai Sonata LF vehicle in which the victim was traveling.

The institution of order urges those accused to turn themselves in by whatever means they consider appropriate, while deepening the investigation to clarify the circumstances of the event and bring those responsible before the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
