Santo Domingo.- Real Hotels & Resorts Group on Wednesdayannounced the opening of its five-star hotel Real InterContinental SantoDomingo for this summer. It will be the eighth InterContinental hotel brand inthe portfolio of Real Hotels & Resorts.

With a total area of ??32,000 m2, it is strategicallylocated in Santo Domingo’s entertainment and business district, at ChurchillAv. with Porfirio Herrera St.

“The exclusive resort will feature 227 rooms – including 16junior suites and 1 Presidential suite on floor 21 – in its modern tower of 21stories and 4 floors for 229 parking spaces,” the promoters said.

Among the various amenities available figure a gastronomiccenter of two bars and three restaurants of a unique concept – Factory Steak& Lobster, The Market and Nau Sushi Lounge-; an InterContinental Club onthe 20th floor, eight divisible meeting rooms with a capacity for 750 people;one ballroom of 540 m2; one Board Room 57 m2; Fitness center; external infinitypool overlooking the city; an InterContinental Spa, beauty salon, sauna andsteam, among other facilities.
