Ten entities are selected for digital productive chain

Santo Domingo.- As part of the Digital Productive Chaining Program (PEPD) by the Dominican Republic Industries Association (AIRD) and the Industry and Commerce Ministry, the companies Nestlé Dominicana, Cemex Dominicana, Conacado, BIOCAFCAO, Tropigas Dominicana, Adozona, Tropigas Foundation, Munné, Cardnet and Distribuidora Corripio were selected as winners of the first call.

The acknowledgment was made in a ceremony headed by president Danilo Medina, Industry and Commerce minister, Nelson Toca, and AIRD first vice president, Julio Virgilio Brache.

“The Program is part of the Digital Republic initiative in the area of ​​Productivity and Employment and seeks that leading companies present initiatives that help reduce the digital divide in the sector of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, using the methodology of productive linkages,” the Presidency said on its website.

The projects chosen will be co-financed by a special fund that is executed in partnership with the AIRD.
