Interior and Police seize guns, targets of pot-smoking clubs

Santo Domingo. – The Interior and Police Ministry seized 17 weapons during the weekend and put on notice 16 businesses which sell alcoholic beverages in greater Santo Domingo.

Interior and Police minister Jose Ramon Fadul made the announcement, afiring that agents seized 14 pistols and three revolvers.

He said they removed nine minors from those businesses for drinking alcoholic beverages and seized chairs, tables and four hookahs, a pipe used to smoke mostly marihuana by several people at a time.
