Police in Santiago seize a record four M16 assault rifles

Santiago.- National Police agents confiscated four M16 assault rifles during a raid in the village of La Chiva, city of Licey al Medio, in Santiago province.

Also seized were ammo and magazines for M16, hoods, a laptop, and six bulletproof vests.

In a statement the Police said the arsenal were seized from three individuals identified only as Chulo (Pimp), Yimi and El Cacu.

The four M16s are the most assault rifles ever confiscated in a raid by authorities in recent history.
