Dominican Govt. offers condolences to Belgium after Brussels attacks

Santo Domingo.- Presidency spokesman Roberto Rodriguez Marchena on behalf of the Dominican government condemned the terrorist attacks that took place Tuesday in Brussels, Belgium.

"With great sadness and sorrow we received the news of the terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium. We express our solidarity with the families affected, with the people and the government of Belgium. We vigorously condemn all acts of violence and terrorism".

"The position of our government has been expressed on many occasions and we reiterate it today on the occasion of these events that have shaken us all," said Rodriguez.

Three victims of Dominican origin

The Foreign Ministry confirmed Wednesday that among the victims of the bombings are three people of Dominican origin.
