Hot, sunny weekend

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) onFriday forecast mostly sunny skies will continue throughout the country, withlow probability of rain.

It said some localized scattered showers and over the mountainousareas are possible during the late afternoon hours.

Onamet said the low chance of rainfall will continue thru theweekend partially influenced by the dust from the Sahara, with widely scatteredshows possible over the Central Mountains, border area and the Northeast.
