Despite the hard-earned respect of citizens, traffic cops change name

Santo Domingo.- With the long-winded name “Directorate General of Traffic Safety and Land Transportation (Digesett/Amet), the agency on Tues. presented its new institutional image, which omits the widely respected AMET (Metropolitan Transit Authority) traffic cops

Also announced in the event were the details that will govern the agency’s new phase.

Digesett will count on a new work methodology in which the officers will proceed with a better attitude and aptitude in their functions, and a new law enforcement protocol when dealing with the citizens.
