Abinader departs for the US to address CAF Conference

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader departed at 1:00 p.m. for New York and Washington to participate in several activities at the invitation of international organizations. He boarded a commercial flight from Dr. José Francisco Peña Gómez Las Americas International Airport, with a small delegation, including key ministers and aides, bidding him farewell.

In New York, President Abinader will speak at the Conference on Investment Infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean. Following this, he will travel to Washington to address the 27th Annual Conference of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) at the Organization of American States (OAS) headquarters.

During his visit, Abinader will meet with executives from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the Inter-American Dialogue, and OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro. The president is expected to return to the Dominican Republic on Thursday evening.
