Amhsa to build US$50M, 336-room hotel in Las Galeras, Samana

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.- Amhsa Marina Hotel &Resorts on Friday announced it will start construction in May on the hotelKaaeni Beach, a 336 room-five star all-inclusive, to be the largest luxuryproperty in Las Galeras, Samana, at a cost of US$50 million.

Amhsa marketing director Mariel Lopez said Kaaeni Beach isset to open in September 2017. She said it will feature five restaurants, fourof them a la carte and one buffet, all of the on the beach.

"Like the water that flows and refreshes, Kaaeni BeachHotel is designed with a concept that mixes nature with luxury in the biggestall-inclusive Las Galeras," Lopez said.

She said the new facility is part of Amhsa’s expansion planin Samaná, which also includes construction of the Entertainment Center, withspa, gym, theater, nightclubs, restaurants, shops and a meeting room for asmany as 400 people.

"The Entertainment Center can be visited by all ourguests in Samana and we’re totally confident it will become an interestingentertainment option."
