“Devil’s acid” attack gets unprecedented 30 years in prison

Santo Domingo. - Mayra Ortega will have to serve the maximum sentence of 30 years in prison, after being found guilty of splashing “devil’s acid” on Jennifer Leyba Linares on August 30, 2009, causing severe burns to 85% of her body.
