Abinader: “The country has to keep its migration under control”
Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader emphasized the unprecedented exceptional circumstances facing the nation, stressing the critical need to maintain control over migration. Against the backdrop of instability in Haiti, he underscored the necessity for a significant increase in deportations of Haitians compared to previous years.
“The deportations we must undertake are tenfold those of previous years, leading to regrettable incidents that we must strive to prevent,” he asserted.
Abinader specifically addressed the recent arrest of Sergeant Onesis Solís Contreras, 29, by the General Directorate of Immigration on grounds of alleged discrimination.
Furthermore, the president denounced as “deplorable, criminal, and indefensible” reports of a migration agent’s alleged sexual assault against a 14-year-old Haitian girl during an immigration operation.
“Regardless of one’s identity, origin, or rank, those responsible for such reprehensible acts will face the full extent of the law,” Abinader affirmed during a press briefing dubbed “La Semanal.”
That’s a joke right. There are four to five million Haitians in the country.
You solution, then, is to do nothing? To not even try? A shameful position.
What solution ? Edward’s are you a hatian ? Fix your nation.
There’s not 4 or 5 million Haitian in the country. I
There’s max 1.5 to 2 million Haitians
In the country, and with mass deportation of 400k and more a year. By 2026 we will have less than 1 million Haitians
