Hipólito Mejía to speak at Progressive Alliance Conference in India

Santo Domingo.- Former Dominican President Hipólito Mejía will participate in the International Conference of the Progressive Alliance, held from April 24 to 26 in Hyderabad, India. The conference aims to promote global justice and will bring together political leaders from around the world.
Mejía is scheduled to speak on Friday, April 25, at 4:30 p.m. local time (4:30 a.m. on April 26 in the Dominican Republic). His presentation will focus on the importance of creating a century defined by democratic, social, and ecological progress. He will argue that achieving this vision requires a strategic and integrated approach that transforms nations’ comparative advantages into competitive strengths.
Mejía will also highlight the disconnect between global wealth production and social inclusion, stressing that despite current uncertainty, the situation is not permanent and can be overcome through cooperation and long-term vision.
The global progressive elites are responsible for the injustices on its own people.
