DR Caribbean Queens team wins First Place in LPGA Scramble Open Tournament
United States.- For the fourth consecutive year, the “CARIBBEAN QUEENS” team, comprised of players from the LPGA Amateurs Chapter of the Dominican Republic, achieved remarkable success at the LPGA Amateurs Scramble Open in the United States. Led by team captain Lissette De los Santos, along with Rosa López, Mirian Francisco, and Mary Luz Perdomo, they secured both the first place gross and net in their category.
In this highly competitive tournament, which featured 55 teams and 220 players, the talented Dominican golfers clinched an impressive third place in the Overall Net rankings. Their consistent performance over the years has consistently placed them among the top three finishers, and this year, they defended their title as champions, having previously won the first gross and net places in 2023 at Palm Springs, California.
