33 flights cancelled at country’s 3rd busiest airport
Santiago.- Cibao International Airport in Santiago, today said 33 flights have been canceled from Thurs. to Fri. as a massive snowstorm batters parts of the eastern United States.
Cibao Airport PR, Santiago González, told Listin Diario that. the airlines canceled 13 flights on Fri, especially at early morning, and it is expects most operations to resume as of noon today.
Gonzalez said NY’s Kennedy and Liberty in New Jersey resumed operations after weather conditions on the US East Coast improved after the storm.
He said to date operations at Cibao -the country’s third busiest airport, Airport, United, JetBlue, Delta and American canceled flights 36, 924, 546, 1596, 450,382 1624,1625, 153, and 1536.
Also flights 236, 237, 452, 556, 893, 894, 37, 36, 432, 937,936, 923,924, bound for New York, New Jersey and Boston the departure of flights 1625, 36, 236, 924, 546, 382, 556 and 1596, 237 and 893, among others.
