Pedophilia fugitive William Bokerman handed over to U.S.
SANTO DOMINGO. – A former U.S. fugitive William Bokerman Jr, charged with pedophilia and child pornography was handed over Monday night to U.S. federal agents who’ll escort him to Florida’s Fort Meyers District Court, the National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) spokesman announced Tuesday.
Roberto Lebrón said Bokerman was handed over to an FBI agent and a U.S. Marshal at the Las Americas International Airport (AILA) and placed aboard American Airlines flight 868 to Mimai.
DNCD agents arrested Bokerman last week at the request of U.S. authorities, which learned of his whereabouts in Dominican Republic.
