Santo Domingo.– Even though the Dominican children already received their presents last Friday, today January 9 is a national holiday that celebrates the Catholic day of the Epiphany.

When “El Dia de Reyes” (day of the Three Kings) falls on Friday, the day off is moved up to Monday.
