The country has more brothels than schools, senior prelate says

Santo Domingo.- Catholic Youth Ministry coordinator Luis Rosario on Saturday said the country has more brothels than schools and urges the authorities to review the sexual orientation programs for the young.

He said the media are also play an essential role in the education of youth and society, where sexuality is sold as something of no unimportance.

The senior prelate said homosexuality isn’t a matter of genetics, but rather education and that more than a choice is a confusion which in his view often results from an abuse during childhood or adolescence.

The priest was interviewed on ONTV channel 10, also stressed the media’s role in times of crime, violence and deprivation affecting the country.
