Motorists beware; floating bridge across Ozama river to close for 2 hours

Santo Domingo.- The Metropolitan Transit Authority (Amet) announced the closing for maintenance during two hours of the floating bridge, Avenida del Puerto, on the Ozama River.

Amet’s announcement was on Twitter, which didn’t specify details as to the work on the bridge.

The agency posted the message at 9:20am, for which the bridge is expected to reopen at 11:30am.
