Scattered showers, high temps today, taper off Thursday

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts scattered showers with thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon, from trough over the eastern part of the country.

It said the showers will mostly over towards the Southwest, Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and border area.

It said the seasonably high temperatures will continue, from the prevailing East-Southeast wind.

Onamet adds that the rains will decrease during the next 24 hours, except for occasional scattered showers in the afternoon.
