Superior Electoral Court orders PRD to relocate polling centers

Santo Domingo.– The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) ordered the Dominican Republic’s major opposition PRD party to relocate 52 polling centers that will be used for the party’s internal convention on July 20.

The decision was taken by TSE judges after accepting an application for urgent and preventive amparo filed by Guido Gomez Mazara and Andres Cueto Rosario on 9 July.

The court also validated the voter registry for the Thirtieth Annual National Convention Noel Espinosa Subervi and rejected two applications for amparo filed by several people demanding their inclusion in the registry.
