Dominican Republic makes progress in protecting human rights

Santo Domingo.– Justice minister Francisco Dominguez Brito said Friday that in recent years the Dominican Republic has made progress in ensuring the human rights of citizens in general.
"The bodies that make up the justice sector, such as the National Police, the National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD), as well as the judiciary and the Public Ministry, have made significant progress to ensure the protection of human rights in our country," Dominguez Brito said.
The Justice minister also highlighted the work done by the Dominican Navy in this regard.
