Scattered showers for most of the country, high waves on coasts

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office-Onamet- forecasts scattered showers in several parts of the country during the next 48 hours, from the moisture dragged by the prevailing east wind.

It said the rains will be more frequent over the eastern and central provinces

Onamet also issued advisories on higher than normal waves, for which small craft should remain in port along the Atlantic coast and sail close to shore along the Caribbean coast.
