Govt. official to be charged with the sexual assault of his daughter

Santo Domingo.- Justice minister Jean Alain Rodríguez on Wed. announced that in the next few hours a government official will be charged with the sexual assault of his daughter.

“I inform the public that we request the assignment of a special judge to handle before him, various procedural actions against an official who is being investigated for alleged sexual violation against a minor,” Rodriguez tweeted.

It emerged that it’s a case of incest involving a14 year old minor, as denounced by journalist Maria Elena Nuñez, who accused Rodriguez of trying to shield the official.
