Santo Domingo.- Supreme Court chief justice, Luis Henry Molina met on Wednesday with US ambassador, Robin Bernstein, to discuss various issues related to the system of administration of justice and Washington’s cooperation mechanisms for that sector.

Molina received the diplomat in the Supreme Court, where he stressed the importance of the meeting to strengthen ties and cooperation in judicial matters, while highlighting the plans under way to achieve a more inclusive Judicial Branch.

“It’s a great satisfaction for the judiciary to receive Ambassador Bernstein, who represents the United States and the United States Government, with which our country has historically maintained cooperative ties,” said Molina.

Accompanying Bernstein were US Embassy Political and Economic Affairs Section counselor, Katharine Beamer, and US Agency for International Development (USAID) Justice Specialist, Lissette Dumit.
