Justice Ministry says it identified who paid to kill David Ortiz

Santo Domingo.- The Justice Ministry on Mon identified Alberto Miguel Rodríguez Mota, who’s on the loose, as the person who allegedly paid for the hit on former Major League Baseball star David Ortiz.

Citing documents, local media report that Gabriel Alexander Perez Vizcaino (a) Hueso and-or Johan, discussed the plan and details one week before the shooting. He’s also the person who receives on his cell phone the day of the crime, a photo of the “target” sent from prison by José Eduardo Ciprian (Chuky).

According to court papers, Pérez Vizcaíno meets minutes before, the day of the attack with the group in the Total gas station on Venezuela Av., corner Las Americas highway, where he shows a photo of their target. He then mounts with them the vehicle driven by Luis Alfredo Rivas Clase (a) El Cirujano, who’s also a fugitive.

It adds that María Fernanda Villasmil and-or Lanny Estephanie Pérez (La Venezolana), was also in the vehicle.
