Key ruling in Odebrecht US$92M graft case expected today

Santo Domingo.- The pretrial hearings for the seven allegedly bribed in exchange for works contracts in the Odebrecht US$92 million graft case are expected to end today.

Supreme Court Special Instruction judge Francisco Ortega will rule either for a criminal trial or acquittal.

During the more than 36 preliminary hearings since August 7 last year, Ortega has weighed the defense’s as well as the prosecution’s evidence.
