Downpours are expected in several locations in the country

A system stationed to the northwest of the national territory will cause local downpours with thunderstorms and occasional gusts of wind throughout the country.     

Consequently, there will be increased cloudiness with local downpours of moderate-intensity with thunderstorms and occasional gusts of wind towards the northwest, north, southwest, Central mountain range and the border area.

In the province of Santo Domingo and its municipalities, there will be scattered clouds overcast with showers, while in the National District there will be scattered clouds overcast with showers, according to the weather report of the National Meteorological Office (ONAMET).

Temperatures will remain seasonally cooler.
