Tourists rescued after boat capsizes near La Romana
La Romana.- A group of tourists faced a frightening ordeal on Monday when their boat capsized in the Caribbean Sea near La Romana, reportedly en route to Saona Island. The incident occurred between the areas known as La Uvita and Segundo Boquerón.
Fortunately, all passengers survived the shipwreck. Emergency response teams, including the 911 System, Fire Department, Civil Defense, National Police, and Caleta municipal authorities, quickly arrived at the scene.
The tourists were rescued from the water and transported to a nearby medical facility for evaluation and care. No serious injuries were reported.

Happy they survived.
Now, do that for Dominicans. I think there was recently a story about a little girl who fell into a drain and needed that type of help.
