92 Dominican Major League players set a 15-year record

Santo Domingo.- The future has already arrived for the new generation of Dominican talent in the Major Leagues and will make their debut today as part of the 92 players on active roster for the MLB Inaugural Day 2019.

The White Sox (7) and the Padres (6) are the teams with the most Dominicans, whereas the Marlins (5), Pirates (5) Yankees (5), and Brewers (1), have the least this season, in which  there are no teams without local players.

The 92 Dominicans at the start of the regular season is a considerable increase compared to the 71 that started in 2018 and the 86 in 2017

The 2019 total sets a record in the last 15 years.
