Trump administration revokes visas of six foreigners over online remarks about Charlie Kirk’s death

Washington.- The Trump administration has revoked the U.S. visas of six foreign nationals accused of mocking or making derogatory remarks about conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed on September 10 while speaking at a Utah college. The State Department announced the decision after reviewing the individuals’ social media activity related to Kirk’s death.

The move coincided with President Donald Trump’s posthumous awarding of the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Kirk, whom he called “a patriot who gave his life for America’s future.” The six individuals—reportedly from Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Paraguay, and South Africa—were not publicly identified. Officials said the action was part of a broader effort to “defend our borders, our culture, and our citizens” by enforcing immigration laws against foreigners who “celebrate the murder of Americans.”

The decision has sparked debate over free speech, as several journalists, teachers, and public figures have reportedly faced consequences for their comments about Kirk. Senior officials, including Vice President J.D. Vance, have urged citizens to report offensive posts, while Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau said he directed consular officers to act against those praising or minimizing Kirk’s death.

You can post what you want on the internet, but do remember that celebrating the killing of anyone is advocating for violence which is not free speech and free speech has consequences that you must pay the price when you do it.

When someone is a guest in the DR they must abide by the laws and customs of this country or they will be asked to depart. The same principle applies to these US Visa cases. They are guests in the US and openly advocate violence and murder of citizens. This is not acceptable conduct in any country in which you are a guest.

Mr Kirk himself was an advocate of free speech and has stated that the loss of a few lives annually from guns was acceptable in order to preseve the rights of the 2nd ammendment. Karma came knocking
