Cuello meets with Spanish official to explore collaboration opportunities

Santo Domingo.- Zoraima Cuello, former vice-presidential candidate of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), recently met with Santiago J. Castellá Surribas, the Subdelegate of the Spanish Government in Tarragona, to strengthen cooperation and explore new collaboration opportunities in strategic development areas.

During their meeting at the Government Subdelegation headquarters, Cuello and Castellá Surribas discussed topics of mutual interest, including the creation of joint projects in technological innovation, research, and cultural exchange. Both emphasized the importance of fostering dialogue and sharing best practices.

Cuello expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted the significance of the meeting in promoting initiatives that benefit public policy proposals in the Dominican Republic, using successful experiences from Tarragona as a reference.

“This meeting represents an opportunity to share experiences and establish synergies that advance projects promoting development, academic reflection, and knowledge transfer,” Cuello stated.

Santiago J. Castellá Surribas expressed his willingness to support initiatives that encourage the exchange of good practices, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in building a more prosperous and equitable future.

The meeting also explored potential collaboration in establishing the Professor Juan Bosch Chair with the Dominican Liberation Party. This initiative aims to honor the legacy of the prominent Dominican intellectual and politician by strengthening academic and cultural exchanges related to his thoughts and political actions.
