Minister of Culture and Rainieri discuss plans for Cultural Center in Punta Cana

Punta Cana.- The Dominican Ministry of Culture, led by Minister Milagros Germán, recently held a meeting with prominent tourism businessman Frank Rainieri at the ministry’s headquarters to discuss the sectoral authorization of the new Rainieri Cultural Center in Punta Cana. The center will operate under the Non-Profit Associations (ASFL) regime, as outlined by law 122-05.

The Rainieri Cultural Center aims to fill the demand for cultural activities in the Eastern region of the country, offering a platform for cultural expression and exchange. The center will serve as a hub for cultural events, promoting all aspects of Dominican culture, including music, dance, gastronomy, and visual arts.

The initiative is led by Frank Rainieri and his wife Haydée Kuret de Rainieri, who are committed to creating a space that is accessible to all citizens. The Rainieri Cultural Center will provide a platform for Dominicans and foreigners alike to come together and celebrate the country’s rich cultural heritage.

The center’s foundation, Grupo Puntacana, has already made significant contributions to Dominican culture through various initiatives such as the Punta Cana Carnival, Poetry Festival, Christmas carol gala, and more. The Rainieri Cultural Center will continue this legacy by providing a permanent space for cultural expression and celebration.

The minister’s meeting with Frank Rainieri marked an important milestone in the development of the new cultural center, which is expected to become a major hub for cultural activities in the Eastern region. With its commitment to promoting Dominican culture and community, the Rainieri Cultural Center is poised to make a significant impact in the country’s cultural landscape.
