95 Dominicans repatriated from the U.S. after serving sentences

Santo Domingo.- A total of 95 Dominican nationals—89 men and 6 women—were repatriated from the United States after completing prison sentences or legal proceedings for various offenses. The group arrived at Las Américas International Airport aboard a special flight chartered by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Upon arrival, they were received by officials from the General Directorate of Immigration, the National Police, and CESAC. Under tight security, the individuals were transported to the Haina Vacation Reception Center, where they will undergo identification, psychological assessments, and reintegration orientation.

According to preliminary data from the DGM, over 1,200 Dominicans have been repatriated in 2025 so far—a number that continues to rise.
