2025 Anton Awards Gala to celebrate Dominican icons in Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo.- The 2025 Anton Awards Gala in the Dominican Republic will take place on August 27th at the Lope de Vega Theater in Santo Domingo, bringing together a stellar lineup of national artists and international guests. Delegates from Spain, Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela will also be in attendance, celebrating the achievements of prominent Dominican figures in music, media, and ministry.

This year’s gala, now in its 11th edition, will honor a distinguished group of Dominican talents for their remarkable careers, including Aramis Camilo, Pochy Familia, and Nelson Zapata (Proyecto Uno), each with over three decades of artistic contribution. Others recognized include Pastor Ramón Orlando, Raul Grisanty, Nancy Amancio, Rafael Shanlate, Jeferson Rodriguez, Jasol Cabral, Marcel Piel Morena, Maripily Ospino, and Juan Joel, among others.

Special international awards will also be presented to voice actress Josefina Hernández, anchor Anyeline Lopez, host Adelina Jorge Elías, and Venezuelan personalities like Elianta Quintero, Beba Rojas, and Barbie de Abreu. The Anton Awards are celebrated across Latin America and the U.S., and will be broadcast through 27 television platforms, highlighting the impact of the Latin Christian and media community.
