Dominican Ambassador Puig presents credentials to Macron
Paris.- Dominican Ambassador to France, David Puig, officially presented his credentials to President Emmanuel Macron, formalizing his role as the country’s representative in Paris.
Puig highlighted the positive outcomes of the Oceans Summit in Nice, where Presidents Luis Abinader and Macron held a high-level meeting that strengthened political dialogue and opened the door to a renewed bilateral agenda.
During the ceremony, Puig and Macron discussed Dominican infrastructure projects supported by France, as well as regional issues such as the situation in Haiti. The ambassador also extended Abinader’s invitation for Macron to make an official visit to the Dominican Republic.
