Baní Bypass to operate one-way for Easter traffic control

Peravia.- DIGESETT announced that starting Wednesday afternoon, the Baní Bypass will operate temporarily as a one-way lane heading south, as part of traffic control measures for the Easter holiday period.

The measure aims to ease congestion and improve traffic flow along one of the main routes used by travelers heading to southern provinces. Authorities confirmed that the system will be reversed on Easter Sunday, allowing one-way traffic from the South toward Santo Domingo to facilitate the return of holiday travelers.

The announcement was made by DIGESETT spokesperson Rafael Tejeda Baldera during the launch of the “Conscience for Life” operation in Peravia. Officials also urged drivers to follow traffic regulations and instructions from authorities to ensure road safety during the holiday.
