DCNB and MIR Foundation join forces to support youth baseball development

La Romana.- The National Baseball Commissioner’s Office (DCNB), headed by Junior Noboa, has signed a collaboration agreement with the MIR Foundation to enhance the education and training of over 500 children and youth in La Romana. The DCNB will provide coaches, host baseball clinics, and offer educational talks to support the foundation’s efforts with underprivileged youth.

Former MLB star and DCNB advisor Edwin Encarnación, a La Romana native, will also participate in the initiative. Noboa emphasized the importance of combining education and sports as part of President Luis Abinader’s vision, praising the foundation’s work and the children’s enthusiasm for baseball.
