Court rules to divorce former Miss Ohio, cable TV mogul, trial continues

Santo Domingo.- The 6th Civil and Commercial Chamber on Wednesday ruled for the divorce between former Miss Ohio Sandra Kurdas and cable TV mogul Frank Jorge Elías, who was ordered to pay a RD$200,000 monthly alimony.

Kurdas’ lawyer Plinio Pina said they’ll appeal judge Evelyn Torres’ ruling, noting that they had asked the judge for a US$50,000 (nearly RD$2.2 million) monthly alimony.

Jorge, who faces trial on charges of aggravated assault against Kurdas, was released after posting trial.
