Ministry of Labor confirms Corpus Christi as non-working day

Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Labor reminds everyone that Corpus Christi will be celebrated in the Dominican Republic on Thursday, May 30.

In accordance with Law 139-97, which governs the observance of holidays, the Ministry informs that this date will not be moved, as it is a religious holiday. It also reiterates that the workforce is expected to return to their regular duties on Friday, May 31.

The observance of this holiday, as mandated by Dominican legislation, must be honored by all establishments in the country.
