Dominican Republic allocates US$1,560 Million for Independence Day celebrations abroad
Santo Domingo.- According to N Digital, the Vice Ministry of Bilateral Foreign Policy has set a budget cap of US$30,000 (approximately RD$1,850,700) for each of the Dominican Republic’s 52 diplomatic missions to host Independence Day events. While costs vary by country, representatives indicate that typical expenses range from $3,500 to $5,000 per celebration. These events aim to commemorate Dominican Independence Day on February 27 and strengthen connections with Dominican communities and international representatives.
