FL Technics to open aircraft maintenance center in Punta Cana
Punta Cana.- FL Technics, a global leader in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has announced the launch of its first maintenance center in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The facility, set to begin operations by the end of 2025, is expected to create over 2,000 skilled jobs in the coming years, starting with 300 positions focused on base maintenance for Airbus A320 and Boeing B737 aircraft.
This strategic project positions Punta Cana as a new hub for commercial aviation in the Americas, boosting the Dominican Republic’s role in the international aeronautical services industry. The project not only represents a major investment in local human capital but also enhances the region’s connectivity through Punta Cana International Airport, which serves nearly 8 million passengers annually.
