JetSMART launches direct flights from Punta Cana to Colombia

Punta Cana.- JetSMART Airlines, South America’s leading ultra-low-cost carrier, is expanding internationally with new direct flights from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, to Medellín and Cali, Colombia, starting December 5, 2025. Promotional fares begin at US$30 to Medellín and US$48 to Cali, and AAdvantage® miles can also be used to redeem flights. The airline expects to transport over 90,000 passengers in the first year.

The new routes enhance connectivity between the Caribbean and South America, with additional links to cities like Bogotá and Santiago de Chile via JetSMART’s network. Flights will operate three times weekly to each destination.
