Pueblito Caribeño launches Selva Doméstica exhibition celebrating Caribbean nature

Punta Cana.-  Pueblito Caribeño Art District has launched its latest cultural initiative, “Selva Doméstica,” a collective exhibition inspired by the vitality of Caribbean nature and supported by Liziarts. The show features 24 works by renowned Dominican and international artists, including Ángel Urrely, Patricia Tolentino, Frantz Zephirin, José Morillo, and Inés Tolentino, among others, at the Pueblito Caribeño Cultural Center.

The exhibition invites visitors on a sensorial journey through imagined jungles, intimate gardens, and emotional ecosystems, reflecting on the relationship between humans and their natural surroundings. Curated by Clara Engelmann and designed by Shadia López, the show highlights the tension between the domestication of nature and its wild essence. Fifteen percent of proceeds will go to the Paseo del Sendero Foundation, reinforcing the initiative’s social commitment.

As the second LiziArts group exhibition hosted at Pueblito Caribeño, Selva Doméstica has drawn wide attention from local residents, national visitors, and tourists, following the success of the previous show that attracted more than 800 attendees in two months. Admission is free with prior reservation, and the program includes parallel activities such as artist meetups and creative workshops for both children and adults.
