Punta Cana Airport wins “The Best of DR 2025” for travel experience

Santo Domingo.- Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) was recognized with the “The Best of DR 2025” award in the Services category, highlighting the airport as one of the most influential organizations in the Dominican Republic. The award, presented by Mercado Magazine, was received by Giovanni Rainieri, Director of Airside Operations at the airport, and handed over by Sarah De Moya, Sales Director of Mercado Media Network.

The recognition is part of Mercado Magazine’s special edition, “The Best of DR”, which annually showcases the top offerings across gastronomy, entertainment, arts and culture, shopping and fashion, sports, business, and services. Rainieri expressed gratitude to employees and passengers, noting that the award represents a commitment “to continue connecting their dreams with our future.”

The 2025 edition of The Best of DR celebrates individuals and organizations that contribute to the country’s excellence. Organizers emphasized that the event honors key figures whose work inspires, influences, and positively impacts Dominican society, highlighting talent that shines both within and beyond the nation’s borders.
