Government allocates over RD$32 million to Monseñor Nouel, Santiago, and La Vega

Santo Domingo.- By directive of President Luis Abinader and through the Administrative Ministry of the Presidency (MAPRE), certificates totaling RD$32,974,180 were handed over this Thursday to fund key infrastructure projects in three municipal districts. Vice Minister Ronald Sánchez, representing Minister Andrés Bautista García, underscored the President’s dedication to supporting local development nationwide.
In Villa Sonador (Bonao, Monseñor Nouel), RD$13,926,455 was certified for construction of a new municipal funeral home, with Governor Adela Tejada and district director Juan Carlos Taveras Núñez in attendance. In Puñal (Santiago), Governor Rosa Santos and Mayor José Enrique Romero Paulino received RD$12,439,725 to build ten single-family homes for local residents. Finally, in Don Juan Rodríguez (Barranca, La Vega), Mayor Wadi Antonio Cabrera Cáceres accepted RD$6,608,000 to purchase a compactor truck to improve solid-waste collection. All funds were formally delivered as part of the administration’s commitment to bolster municipal services and infrastructure.
